Frank Bello

Anthrax

Hartke amps give the ultimate in punch and tightness that every player looks for.”

Frank Bello is the bassist for the iconic thrash metal band Anthrax. Originally a roadie and guitar technician for the band, Frank officially joined Anthrax for their Spreading the Disease album. After leaving Anthrax in early 2004, Frank joined Helmet, another New York-based rock band, for a brief stint. He has since reunited with Anthrax. On March 14, 2009, Frank was the featured guest on VH1 Classic's That Metal Show. He has recently been featured on the cover of Bass Player magazine for his killer bass lines and freight train like tone on Anthrax's 2011 album Worship Music. Frank, with Anthrax, has taken part in The Big Four tour, featuring the biggest names that thrash metal has to offer: Anthrax, Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer.
