Greg Smith

Ted Nugent

Hartke amps give me incredible power and a reliable bottom tone no matter what venue I play.”

Greg Smith began his career when Gene Simmons handpicked him to provide the bass parts for the Wendy O Williams album WOW when he was just 20. He then landed his next steady gig playing bass for legendary shock rocker Alice Cooper starting with the 1991 Hey Stoopid tour, playing arenas all over the America and Europe. He was also in a band called Red Dawn and played with former Rainbow singer Joe Lynn Turner. He also did studio work and tours with Ritchie Blackmore's revival of Rainbow and Blue Oyster Cult. After showing off his diverse bass skills on the Billy Joel broadway musical Movin Out, Greg has since gotten back to his hard rock roots as the bass player for Ted Nugent.
