Ian Cattell

Brit Floyd

“I love Hartke's ability to reproduce softer vintage tones as well as crisp, full spectrum, active bass sounds - a must for covering two and a half decades of Pink Floyd.”

As a touring musician, Ian Cattell has played bass and covered lead vocals at over 800 shows in over 30 countries around the world. Ian's concert highlights include the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Bell Centre in Montreal, The Fillmore in San Francisco, The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles and Carnegie Hall in New York. Drawing from a diverse background of classical and jazz training, along with over 25 years of rock, progressive rock, funk, and pop experience, he specializes in producing a wide variety of sounds and styles on bass encompassing vintage to modern. Ian's attention to detail on the bass and his ability to sing both as Roger Waters and as David Gilmour has been lauded by critics and fans across the globe and is a vital part of the authenticity that Brit Floyd is known for.
