Victor Wooten is a true innovator on bass guitar, as well as a talented composer, arranger, producer, multi-instrumentalist and author. While garnering accolades with Grammy-winning supergroup Béla Fleck & the Flecktones, Wooten added a successful solo career to his credits, including the groundbreaking 1996 album A Show of Hands. He also formed Bass Extremes with fellow low-end lord Steve Bailey, as well as SMV with Stanley Clarke and Marcus Miller. Wooten is the only 3-time winner of Bass Player magazine's "Bass Player of the Year" and was voted one of the "Top Ten Bassists of All Time" in Rolling Stone Magazine. Wooten recently released two new records, Words and Tones and Sword and Stone, and continues to tour with The Victor Wooten Band.
