The MediaOne 5a monitors produce a powerful, full-range sound thanks to the internal 40 watt amplifier, extended range copolymer woofer and 25mm silk dome tweeter. The 5-inch custom designed woofer delivers tight and controlled low frequency response, while the silk dome high frequency driver is set in a custom wave guide that produces an accurate and natural high frequency response. The result is solid bass dispersion and extended highs, all in an amazingly compact cabinet.

Intuitive Features Complement Professional Design

An internal 2 x 20 watt high performance, low distortion, stereo power amplifier drives both sides, and the right side cabinet also houses a convenient, front control panel with volume control and headphone output. There is also a 3.5mm auxiliary input for connecting a second signal source like an MP3 player, keyboard, sound card or any other stereo line level signal.

On its rear panel, you'll find RCA inputs, terminals for connecting the passive monitor, power switch and AC power. The precision-tuned enclosures, which incorporate rear venting for extended low frequency response, are finished in an attractive black satin vinyl covering, assuring these monitors look as good as they sound.
