This four string version of the AK Series instruments features a contoured Basswood body for more sustain and a sleek "belly cut" design. Its slim, comfortable hard maple neck incorporates a fast, easy-playing rosewood fingerboard with 24 frets. The natural sustain and resonance of the instruments are faithfully captured by two active "soap bar" pickups and a 2-band active EQ system. The AK-4 also features a heavy-duty chrome bridge, adjustable truss rod and volume and tone controls.
